Abstract: With the help of policy review, literature review and research visualization, this article interprets the relationship between domestic community construction and urban-rural development and integration before sorting out the comprehensive process and evolution of community construction at the level of 'research and practice'. Then it explains the connotation of community construction with characteristics, laws, logic, key driving forces and related mechanisms included, as well as similarities and differences between urban and rural areas. Then it puts forward some thinking and prospect of urban and rural development and integration from the perspective of community construction, and cites the practice of Chengdu as proof and specific explanation.
