Abstract:
Because of the different ways of choosing and transforming the environment, and the different social environment and cultural psychology formed in special environment, the structure and characteristics of the settlement landscape will be influenced and changed in the clan groups' migration and development process. Three major clan groups in Guangdong Province have relatively stable cultural zoning. In the case of little difference in natural environment, there are distinct differences in settlement landscape among different clan groups. It is easier to find its characteristics and explore its formation mechanism by comparing and studying the settlement landscape based on the perspective of clan system difference. Through the comprehensive use of anthropology, culture, geography and other disciplines, the paper compares and analyzes the landscape differences among the three major clan groups, individual settlements and the interior of the settlements in Guangdong. In addition, by associating the settlement landscape difference with folk culture, it finds the causes of the main landscape differences, including the migration time sequence of the clan people, the choice and transformation of clan immigrants to the environment, the production technology of clan and the family structure of clan, which will provide the basis and reference for the protection and development of the villages in this area
