Abstract:
Under the background of new urbanization, the construction of livable county has become a new trend of development. This article takes 29 counties in 9 provinces in the eastern part of the country as the main research object, the evaluation of the livability of the county seats is carried out from seven aspects: residential comfort, convenience of public services, supportiveness of municipal facilities, accessibility to transportation, environmental health, security, and urban characteristics, the attributes were summed up on three aspects: capability attribute, guarantee attribute, and class attribute, and the relationship between the three attributes and livability evaluation results was analyzed, as well as the difference in evaluation of livability among different types of people, then it is concluded that the livability of counties in the eastern region has been characterized by differentiation and upgrading, there are both protection-oriented primary county livability and comfort-oriented high-class county livability. Furthermore, the paper proposes differentiation development suggestions for the livability development of 29 county seats.
