Abstract: Traditional village is an important carrier of Chinese traditional local civilization and non-material culture, and joint creation is an important means to construct modern governance system in contemporary China. Based on the characteristics of traditional villages in Southern Fujian and the mechanism of joint creation and operation, taking the idea of joint creation of a better environment and a happy life as the working methodology, taking the traditional village culture characteristics as the practice path, and combining the spirit of modern governance with the connotation of traditional local civilization, this paper has carried out a series of rural construction practices, which has proved that the Chinese traditional local civilization contains the vein and spirit of modern social governance. It is an effective way to promote the development of rural governance system and stimulate the vitality of traditional villages.
