Abstract: At present, there are still problems in the aspects of color mining, systematic and flexible planning control, and connection with existing plannings. Through literature review and practice status analysis, this paper constructs a set of color planning and practice model, in order to provide scientific working methods for urban color planning management and control. The model has the characteristics of organic combination with landscape planning, internal systematization and flexibility of color selection, reflecting the management and control concepts of system and flexibility combination. Finally, this paper discusses the practice of color planning in Jiangcheng County, in Pu'er City, Yunnan Province, and preliminarily proves that the model has certain rationality and operability, which will provide enlightenment and reference for related planning theory research and practice in the future.
