Abstract:
Land suitability evaluation of ecological-production-living spaces in villages and towns is a powerful link to achieve intensive and efficient use of resources, alleviate the contradiction between supply and demand of urban and rural land, and coordinate and guide the symbiotic development of production, living, and ecological spaces. However, from the perspective of ecological-production-living spaces, there are problems with the single method of land suitability and insufficient selection of evaluation indicators. The matter-element model can more comprehensively grasp the specific performance of the object to be evaluated on the single factor index, which greatly improves the accuracy of land-use suitability evaluation of ecological-production-living spaces. This research evaluated the suitability of land use in villages and towns of Yongchuan District, Chongqing City based on the matter-element model. It was found that 62.5% of the village and township construction land is in a suitable state (including the most suitable and highly suitable). The irrational land use in Ji'an Town, Hejing Town, Xianlong Town, and Zhutuo Town is relatively prominent. In the future planning and construction, attention must be paid to the villages and towns with low land use suitability, and scientific planning and rational use of village land must be made.
