Abstract:
The Peri-urban area is a transitional zone between urban and rural areas. Population, economy, land use and built environment are different from urban or rural areas, and the public service environment is more complex. Unbalanced allocation, unequal supply and low service quality of public service facilities are common phenomena in this area. Taking Yulin Town in Hohhot City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region as an example, the medical and health facilities which provides service for this area are taken as the research objects. From the perspective of residents, based on field survey, questionnaire survey and GIS spatial analysis The medical and health facilities evaluation system is constructed by analytic hierarchy process, with the indicators of infrastructure construction, facility scale, service capacity and external environment. The relevant factors that affect the medical and health services is analyzed and suggestions on the differential allocation and security mechanism of medical and health facilities in the urban fringe are made to meet the residents' needs.
