Abstract:
The development of rural industries is the foundation and core of rural revitalization and poverty alleviation. The industrial development planning is an important reform guided by the rural revitalization strategy. As an important measure for poverty alleviation and rural revitalization, relocation has not only brought benefits to poverty eradication and ecological protection, but also caused village development to face new challenges. Based on the concept of urban-rural co-ordination and sustainable development, this paper combs the development experience of similar villages at home and abroad. Through the construction of a ‘population-land-industry’ relationship framework that restricts and drives each other, it is found that relocation and merged villages face population loss, spatial fragmentation, and the lack of capital, but there are also opportunities for ecological restoration, land use and production transformation. On this basis, an industrial planning framework was constructed. Based on questionnaires and field visits, the empirical study of Zhongxing Village, Jinhu County, Jiangsu Province was used to explore the unique model of industrial development strategies, spatial function layout and governance system guarantees of relocated and merged villages. In the post-poverty era, the ability of "hematopoiesis" is improved, the results of poverty alleviation and the integration of urban and rural industries are provided.
