Abstract:
Since the No.1 Central Document in 2017 proposed to encourage the construction of rural complexes, governments at all levels have successively issued relevant policy support, and the construction of rural complexes has developed rapidly in recent years. This paper takes the three major provinces of central China which are the main agricultural production areas in China as the research scope, and takes 61 data of the pastoral complexes in central China as the research object from the data crawling and on-site investigation. Firstly, it analyzes its status from three aspects:location selection, space construction and economic industry characteristics. Secondly, the rural complex in central China is divided into three types:water network, hilly mountain and plain, from the geographical environment dimension, and an in-depth analysis is carried out from the three aspects of quantity distribution, construction scale and industrial function. Based on the three types of pastoral complexes, three spatial combination modes were proposed, including ‘axis lead’ ‘follow the mountain’ and ‘central radiation’. This paper focuses on the types of rural complexes and their spatial coupling relationship, with a view to providing effective guidance for the planning and construction of rural complexes in central China, and providing a universal and feasible development path for rural revitalization in the new era.
