Abstract:
This paper takes 290 4A-level rural tourist attractions in Jiangsu Province as the research object, and uses Dazhongdianping network data as the data source. Firstly, it establishes a scenic spot heat evaluation model to evaluate the network evaluation value of each scenic spot. Secondly, it uses Gini coefficient, nuclear density analysis, and hotspot analysis methods to explore the spatio-temporal differences and evolution characteristics of rural tourism in Jiangsu Province. Finally it discusses the influencing factors of the formation of rural tourism spatiotemporal differences. The research results show that:(1) From a time series perspective, the popularity of rural tourist attractions in Jiangsu Province has increased year by year from 2012 to 2018, but the spatial differences are significant and show an expanding trend. (2) From the perspective of spatial structure evolution, Jiangsu Province's rural tourism spatial pattern has gone through the evolution process of ‘single-core-dual-core-three-core’, and the heat spreading trend is ‘South-Northwest-Northeast’. (3) From the spatial distribution of hotspots, there are obvious changes in the cold and hot patterns. Hot spots distributed in southern Jiangsu, and cold spots are mainly distributed in northern Jiangsu. (4) From the perspective of the types of hot spots, the type of rural tourism in Jiangsu Province is gradually shifting from agricultural tourism to leisure vacation, and the consumption mode of tourists is gradually inclined to leisure vacation. (5) The spatial difference of rural tourism in Jiangsu Province is the result of the combined effect of per capita GDP, urbanization rate, and railway passenger traffic, and there are obvious differences in intensity, which are strongly related to the number of road passenger traffic, highway passenger traffic and the number of A-level tourist attractions.
