Abstract: Guangdong Province Heyuan City has jurisdiction over five counties and one district. It is one of the earliest settlements of Hakka ancestors. This paper investigates 87 existing Hakka dwellings in five counties in Heyuan, summarizes and statistically analyzes the geographic location, volume, layout and structure of the data, and made relevant analysis and descriptive statistical analysis with the help of SPSS statistic analysis to grasp the overall distribution patterns and laws of Hakka residential houses in Heyuan. By adopting multi-analysis method and cluster analysis by SPSS, this paper classifies the surveyed objects according to their variable characteristics, aiming to provide more protection and development for the existing Heyuan residential. The precise strategic basis also contributes to the sustainable and adaptive development of contemporary Hakka dwellings.
