Abstract:
Cultural heritage tourism is one of the dynamic and sustainable ways to protect cultural heritage resources. The research analyzes the cultural ecology of Shexian County from the perspective of cultural ecology and determines the three dimensions of cultural heritage tourism suitability evaluation. Based on natural geographic data, cultural heritage data, POI and other multi-source data, spatial analysis techniques including GIS interpolation simulation, In VEST habitat quality evaluation, and so on are superimposed to obtain the distribution pattern of cultural heritage tourism suitability in Shexian County. It is found that the cultural heritage tourism of She County presents a suitability pattern of ‘high along the central line and low along the north-south edge’. Some townships are restricted by transportation and other facilities and have low tourism suitability. And based on cultural ecology theory and suitability evaluation results, a system is proposed. The three strategic paths of symbiosis and coordination, suitability and characteristic coordination, and ecological protection and development are hopd to provide methods and theoretical references for the sustainable development of cultural heritage tourism.
