Abstract: With the introduction of the national incentive policies for rural tourism and the change in consumption concept, countryside resorts are becoming more and more popular. However, the current countryside resorts' landscape construction are uneven. By analyzing the concept of locality and the development status of countryside resort, the paper puts forward the idea of putting locality into the construction of rural resort landscape construction, extracting the three design principles of adjusting measures to local conditions, putting people oriented, and keeping pace with the times. Through the construction of site environment, the establishment of architectural landscape and humanistic spirit, this paper explores the construction strategy from the perspective of locality. This paper takes a countryside resort in Xianglugou Village, Zhashui County, Shannxi Province as an example to analyze the construction of countryside resort landscape from the perspective of locality.
