Abstract:
With the development of rural revitalization strategies, the development of rural communities has also attracted much attention. As a rural community with unique regional culture and spiritual connotations, the community structure inside traditional villages have become more dynamic and complicated, and the demand for different vital spaces has become more complicated. Taking Dongcun Ancient Village, in Jinting Town, Wuzhong District in Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province as the research object, comprehensively through interviews and investigations, conceptual analysis, induction and other methods, the ancient village protection and vitality space development status issues are excavated and combed, and the behavioral activities and spatial demands of different communities are analyzed from the perspective of community theory. It also analyzes the spatial characteristics of the village's current situation, and proposes that different community subjects have different impacts on the protection and development of the village. Finally, from the three aspects of industrial economic vitality, social and cultural vitality, and public space vitality, the development path for the construction of Dongcun vitality space is proposed, which provides an effective reference method for the protection and development of traditional villages in our country.
