Abstract:
Linpan in Western Sichuan is a unique rural settlement form in the Western Sichuan Plain, and it is also a product of the integration and development of a variety of local cultures. At present, the development of our country's rural areas is more assimilated, but under the background of rural revitalization, it is particularly important to preserve the traditional rural landscape and continue the rural settlement culture. Linpan in Western Sichuan, as the inherent living environment form in Sichuan rural area, has typical traditional characteristics, but the current research on the method of extracting the characteristic elements of the Linpan rural landscape in Western Sichuan is slightly insufficient. Based on this, this article introduces the theory of ‘landscape genes’, taking the Linpan of Longquan Community, Juyuan Town, Dujiangyan City as the research object. Based on the identification of the native landscape genes, this study extracts common landscape genes and individual landscape genes and formulates corresponding protection strategies to preserve traditional forest settlements, in the hope of providing a new path for the protection and research of Linpan in Western Sichuan.
