Abstract: County is an important organizational unit of our country's rural development, a platform for coordinating urban and rural development, and an important fulcrum for implementing the rural revitalization strategy. Since 2003, relying on its developed county economy, Zhejiang Province has carried out rural planning and construction practices ranging from 'thousand village demonstrations and ten thousand villages renovation' to high-level construction of beautiful villages. The practice of rural development in Zhejiang is at the forefront of the country, and it has accumulatd successful experience in rural construction activities during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. Focusing on Deqing County, Zhejiang Province, combined with the field survey results of 12 typical villages, on the basis of sorting out the history of rural planning and construction, this paper summarizes the typological characteristics of rural construction and development in Deqing County, and analyzes the development of rural development based on case studies. Through the micro-mechanism, the experience summary and trend prospect of rural construction and development in Deqing county can provide reference for the village planning and construction of counties in similar areas.
