Abstract:
Identifying the spatial characteristics and general rules of different functions in counties is the scientific basis for arrangement the spatial layout of functions and optimization of territorial spatial pattern. This paper establishes a functional layout pattern characterization index system including hierarchical features, sequential features and clustering features, and analyzes the distribution characteristics of various types of functions in Xintai City based on 2020 Amap points of interest data. Four different functional layout patterns are identified by Ward's clustering method, which are centripetal ubiquitous type, hierarchical distribution type, strongly-centered ubiquitous type, and urban clustering type. This paper also provides a feasible way for the application of emerging data in the intelligent transformation period of territorial spatial planning.
