Abstract:
In recent years, all kinds of disasters occur frequently. Besides, China's rural society changes rapidly, rural areas are facing great disturbance and potential risks. In this context, the study of rural resilience has attracted extensive attention from the government and academia. The existing research on rural resilience in China is still at its initial stage and has not considered the complex connotation behind the evolution of rural multi-function. First of all, this paper presents the dynamic development characteristic of rural resilience from the perspective of evolution, and integrates the phenomenon representation of rural multi-functional development with the concept of Chinese ‘characteristics’, realizes the connection of conceptual connotations, and then identifies the core points that need to be paid attention to in resilience research. Secondly, based on the above points, the mechanism of resilience in rural areas, a social ecosystem with complex man-land relationship, is elaborated from three parts:disturbance pressure, system state, and subject response. Finally, corresponding to different parts of the role of resilience, the path strategies of improving resilience adaptability governance in rural areas was discussed from three aspects:disturbance prediction, state adaptation, and resilience response, which provide references for theoretical research on rural resilience and rural construction in China.
