Abstract:
Huizhou villages' image has profound traditional cultural connotation, which shows the characteristics of regional village human settlement environment through the organic combination of different elements. By collecting all kinds of genealogical maps recorded in Huizhou area during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, this paper identifies and interprets the image structure and features generated by means of historical literature sorting, factor frequency statistics and spatial structure analysis. Seventeen main image elements in the genealogical map are identified, the natural background image, agricultural landscape image, water outlet regional image and clan image are summarized, and the relationship between the five images is revealed. Finally, on this basis it tries to interpret the hidden order behind Huizhou village groups and combine with the development trend of rural revitalization, so as to assist the protection and development of Huizhou traditional villages.
