Abstract:
The realization of the carbon emission peak and neutrality is the macro trend of China's future development. The existing studies mostly focus on regional and urban scales, but are lack of discussion on that in rural areas. Taking S Town of C County in Western China as an example, this paper analyzes the carbon source of its three parts: agricultural space, ecological space and town and village construction space, and calculates the change of its carbon emission and carbon sink based on the planning. The 'carbon density' is used to measure the impact of different land use conversion on regional carbon measurement before and after the planning. Finally, the paper puts forward the suggestions of double carbon oriented spatial planning strategy from three aspects: agricultural space, ecological space, town and village construction space.
