Abstract: Rural planning evaluation is an important means to improve the quality of rural planning and promote the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy. There have been more than 20 years of research on rural planning assessment in China, and a systematic review is urgently needed. The article first uses CNKI database as the data source, and uses CiteSpace software to analyze the overall situation of my country's rural planning evaluation research from 2000 to 2021. Then it comments on rural planning evaluation concept, evaluation of rural planning text quality, evaluation of planning implementation process and effect evaluation of rural planning; finally, try to build a conceptual framework of 'rural planning evaluation' and discuss its future development direction: (1) Analyzing the concept of 'rural planning evaluation'; (2) Improving the quality evaluation of rural planning texts; (3) Constructing the evaluation mechanism of rural planning implementation process; (4) Discussing the 'value ethics' of rural planning implementation effect evaluation.
