Abstract:
Architectural typology is a research technique that pursues the intrinsic essence of architecture in the historical dimension, explores 'change' and 'invariance' in the process of architectural development, and thus solves the relationship between 'tradition' and 'modernity' in architectural design. By using the research means of architectural typology such as historical tracing and prototype space extraction, this paper combs the evolution law of the residential buildings in the Tuanlongwei Group of Zhongcheng Village, Dingnan County, South Jiangxi Province, and extracts the prototype space from it. It summarizes the development law of the traditional residential buildings and the characteristics of the prototype space, that is, the 'change' and 'invariance' in the development of the residential buildings. Applying the prototype space of folk houses in specific reconstruction projects to create a new era rural settlement folk house with South of Ganzhou regional characteristics can provide a certain reference strategy for the reconstruction of relevant traditional settlement folk houses, and contribute to the full implementation of the national rural revitalization strategy.
