Abstract:
This paper takes the color system of the Japanese Institute of Color Design (NCD) as the theoretical basis for color research, combines urban planning, architecture, color psychology and other related theories, explores the way of children's public space construction in the context of urban renewal. Through trying to introduce multi parties to participate in the design, it focuses on the design of the entrance space of Dongmao Street Primary School in Furong District, Changsha City, Hunan Province and is committed to the construction of children's space in traditional streets. From the perspective of color research, the research context is constructed, and a set of exploratory design process is proposed by using tools such as site particularity sorting and induction, user scholar designer participation, children's color preference data questionnaire, color semantic method, KJ method, etc., and combined with color emotional design and image information specializations, a complete color design scheme is proposed to activate the entrance space of Dongmao Street Primary School. The article aims to integrate the NCD color logic into the design and help the construction of children's public space in the context of urban renewal.
