Abstract:
Under the background of 'double carbon' goal, actively promoting emission reduction and carbon sequestration in agriculture and rural areas has become a new development requirement put forward by the country in rural areas. In order to explore low-carbon planning strategies in rural areas and improve the quality of rural development, this paper summarizes the main progress of rural research based on the low-carbon concept, clarifies the defects of village development in Hexi Corridor and the necessity of low-carbon development, and takes Dawan Village, a traditional village in Hexi Corridor, as the case study object. This paper uses the carbon emission factor method to quantitatively calculate and analyze the village house building, road traffic, waste disposal, agricultural production, forest and grass farmland in Dawan Village. Finally, aiming at the deficiencies of different carbon sources and sinks, this paper proposes low-carbon planning strategies from five aspects: low-carbon space, low-carbon buildings, low-carbon transportation, low-carbon resources, and low-carbon industries, hoping to provide reference for the low-carbon and high-quality development of rural areas in Hexi Corridor.
