Abstract:
With the emergence and prosperity of the rural tourism market, multiple subjects have flocked to rural tourism development and construction, and the adaptive behaviors of subjects have created the complexity of the rural tourism system. Based on the theoretical basis that the complex adaptive system theory is highly compatible with the future rural tourism system, the future rural tourism system is regarded as a complex adaptive system consisting of four parts: the multi-subject adaptive system, the tourism environment system, the tourism structure system, and the tourism attractor system. Taking the tourism planning of Qingshan Village, a pilot project of future rural construction in Hangzhou of Zhejiang as an example, the empirical study applies the basic characteristics of the complex adaptive system theory to explain the composition of the future rural tourism system of Qingshan Village, and guide the specific planning of the subsystems to achieve multiple objectives such as the participation of multiple subjects in the co-creation of rural tourism values, scientific development of rural resources, optimization of rural tourism spatial structure, and selection of suitable rural tourism products. The study can provide references for future rural tourism development in other regions.
