Abstract:
Under the strategic requirements of rural revitalization, the construction of rural public space urgently needs to be upgraded at the governance level. Based on the theoretical practice of multi-subject cogovernance at home and abroad, this paper divides rural public space into formal and informal public space. Taking Xiongling Village in Wuhan, Hubei as an example, it is found that there is an uneven distribution of formal public space and insufficient spatial vitality, and there exists the problem of low quality of informal public space and interruption of space inheritance, and then analyzes its production mechanism from the perspective of different governance subjects. Finally, an updated governance strategy is proposed to optimize the spatial layout mode, introduce rural local knowledge, cultivate rural endogenous organization, and reshape the consciousness of villagers. It is hoped to provide an important reference for rural public space governance.
