Abstract:
The marine environment is not only one of the decisive factors for the formation and development of traditional coastal salt flats, but also plays an irreplaceable role in shaping the landscape pattern of salt fields, settlement morphology, and industrial spatial layout. This paper takes the salt landscape space of three traditional salt farms, Shapa, Shuangyu, and Beiliao, in the lagoon bay of Yangxi County, Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province, as a research object. With the purpose of sorting out the mutual driving relationship between the landscape pattern of salt fields, settlement morphology, and industrial spatial layout, using research methods such as historical land use interpretation, landscape pattern index, Voronoi diagram, etc. , to analyze the characteristics of the salt field landscape pattern under geomorphological features, the spatial differentiation characteristics of salt fields and saltmaking settlements, and the spatial distribution relationship characteristics of salt, agriculture, and fishing industries, this paper explores the influence of the diverse marine environment of the lagoon bay and artificial effects on the spatial characteristics of the traditional salt landscape, analyzes the internal causes of the disappearance of the spatial characteristics of the modern Yangxi salt landscape, and discovers the value of the salt cultural landscape heritage. It is hoped to provide practical significance for the protection of the cultural landscape heritage of the sea salt in Guangdong, and the promotion of the development of the sea salt industry culture and tourism.
