Abstract:
Forest town' construction is an important measure to respond to green development strategy and practice ecological civilization construction. Firstly, this paper argues that the construction of ecological space in 'forest towns' of Chinese modernization needs to promote the ecological environment construction of towns and villages to comprehensively improving the livability of towns and villages. Secondly, taking Luoshe Town in Wuxi, a typical town in southern Jiangsu Province, as a case study, the paper analyzes the main spatial problems of ecological spatial pattern destruction, disordered spatial organization, and rapid decline of ecological elements in the construction of 'forest town'. Finally, the paper puts forward the ecological spatial optimization and improvement strategy of Luoshe's 'forest town' from the perspective of composite ecology, and puts forward three spatial issues that focus on constructing a healthy and stable ecological network pattern of 'forest town' at the macro level, constructing a highly integrated spatial pattern with the characteristics of Jiangnan water town at the middle level, and strengthening the ecological rehabilitation and construction of 'forest town' at the micro level.
