Abstract:
Type analysis and spatial zoning are the basic prerequisites for carrying out the overall protection and regional development of traditional villages. Based on the investigation of traditional villages in Shandong Province and the perspective of spatial gene theory, this article constructs a 13-index classification index system for the spatial style of traditional villages from four levels: landscape, settlement, architecture, and culture. K-modes clustering algorithm is used to analyze 177 traditional villages in Shandong Province, obtaining 8 spatial style types. Furthermore, combined with regional culture, geographical characteristics, and administrative divisions, 5 traditional village style areas in Shandong Province are divided. This article analyzes the spatial style and characteristics of traditional villages in Shandong Province from a macro perspective, as well as the internal logic and geographical distribution rules of their formation and development. It provides a scientific reference for a more comprehensive understanding the characteristics of traditional villages in Shandong Province, and to carry out centralized and contiguous protection and utilization of regional traditional villages.
