Abstract:
The traditional settlements in northern Fujian carry the local Minyue culture and Neo Confucianism culture that have existed for hundreds or even thousands of years, and are the key to the regional characteristics of northern Fujian. This study takes landscape genes as the theoretical basis and uses feature structure extraction method to identify, extract, and illustrate the cultural landscapes of 20 typical traditional settlements in northern Fujian. It summarizes the spatial genetic characteristics of traditional settlements living by mountains, rivers, and ethnic groups in northern Fujian, as well as the architectural genetic characteristics of academy bridges and three entrances and nine buildings, the cultural genetic characteristics of scientific culture and rock tea architecture, and the slowly changing and interconnected gene generation mechanism. Building a landscape gene database based on Qt Creator software, achieving functions such as gene information input, display, and query, providing strong support for the protection and inheritance of local traditional culture.
