Abstract:
In view of the gravity of global climate change, low-carbon and zero-carbon development models have emerged as the focus of common concern within the international community. Clear requirements have been established at the national, industry, and standard levels to promote green and low-carbon development. As a crucial carrier for green and low-carbon development, the planning and design of dual-carbon smart parks are of paramount importance. Based on the newly released 'Dual Carbon Smart Park Planning and Electrical Design Guidelines (Chinese and English)' (T/IGEA001—2022), this article delves into the connotation and definition of dual carbon smart parks. It focuses on outlining the implementation process from planning to design, aiming to achieve the dual goals of 'dual carbon' and 'smart'. Furthermore, it sorts out the technical aspects that require attention in park planning and design, analyzes their roles in reducing carbon emissions and enhancing energy utilization efficiency, and ultimately aims to provide valuable insights for the construction of dual-carbon smart parks.
