Abstract:
Rural construction evaluation is a crucial task in promoting rural development, fostering livable and business-friendly villages, and enhancing the beauty of rural areas. Achieving intelligent evaluation in rural construction is of great significance for improving the efficiency and accuracy of the evaluation process. However, traditional socioeconomic censuses and surveys encounter challenges such as limited coverage and high collection costs. In response to these challenges, this paper adopts the research paradigm of a‘computable village’, combining graphical and numerical approaches to construct an evaluation system based on village landscape images. Taking 102 counties nationwide as examples, this study conducts a feature analysis. The results indicate that the evaluation method based on village landscape images can convert vast image data into evaluation indicators, enabling intelligent and refined evaluation at the micro-level of farmhouses and villages. This approach facilitates the revelation of regional differences in aspects such as farmhouses, village roads, and village appearance. This study aims to provide a more efficient, intelligent, and scalable data collection and analysis technology for rural construction evaluation through the intelligent analysis of village landscape images. This will be beneficial for guiding future rural construction work and promoting sustainable rural development.
