Abstract: Rural construction is an important task for implementing the strategy of rural revitalization, and it is also an integral aspect of national modernization. Studying from the perspective of rural construction, and among the numerous influencing factors of the level of rural construction, we have established an evaluation index system that comprehensively reflects the development level of rural construction. Based on the survey data of rural construction evaluation in Songming County, Kunming, Yunnan Province in 2023, the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method improved by the combination of AHP and the Golden Section is utilized to analyze the development level of rural construction in Songming County. The results indicate that the level of rural construction and development in Songming County is moderate within Yunnan Province, and the article delves into the causes of the evaluation results. The indicator system and model constructed in this paper can objectively analyze the comprehensive development level of rural areas, aiming to provide strong support for relevant departments and personnel in solving issues related to rural construction and development, and offering a basis for formulating reasonable rural construction planning and strategies.
