Abstract:
The study of economic network characteristics of districts and counties in the Luanhe River Basin is of great significance in accurately improving the level of economic development. This paper takes 40 districts and counties in the Luanhe River Basin as the research scope, introduces the flow space theory to improve the gravity model, constructs the economic network model of the Luanhe River Basin in 2000, 2010, and 2020, and uses the social network analysis method to explore the characteristics of the economic network and the spatial-temporal evolution law in the Luanhe River Basin. The results show that in the past 20 years, the center gravity of economic development has gradually shifted from Qinhuangdao to Tangshan, and the solid economic flows are mainly distributed within the city of Tangshan. The density of the economic network shows a rising trend, but the basin as a whole is low; the point degree of centrality, middle degree of centrality, and close degree of centrality of the Lubei District and Lunan District of Tangshan City are higher, indicating that their external influence and internal attraction are better, and are not easily affected by the economic development of other districts and counties. The core area of the basin's economic network is gradually expanding, showing the characteristics of 'strong downstream and weak upstream'. The power distribution of the network within the basin has developed from uneven to balanced. Still, only the downstream Lubei and Lunan districts are located in the core power area, and the driving effect on the marginal power districts and counties is limited.
