Abstract:
Rural homestays constitute a significant component of rural tourism, serving as an effective measure to promote rural economic development and an important lever for advancing rural revitalization in all aspects. By tracing the historical development of rural homestays in China, this paper aims to establish a solid foundation for their high-quality development through examining both the essential industrial components and innovative industrial driving mechanisms. Starting from three perspectives of ecological and low-carbon practices, resource integration, and cultural and humanistic connotations, this paper proposes a practical path and measures for the high-quality development of rural homestays, characterized by a 'six-dimensional integration' approach. This has certain reference value for the rural homestay industry to facilitate the transformation and upgrading of rural tourism and promote comprehensive rural revitalization.
