Urban housing price has always been the focus of urban geography, urban planning and economic geography. The development of the real estate market in the metropolitan area is quite different, which reflects the resource allocation ability and function of different scales in a region. In this paper, kriging interpolation method is used to estimate the spatial distribution pattern of housing prices in the metropolitan area of the Yangtze river delta. Taking Huzhou as an example, it studies the influence of metropolitan area housing price on small towns’ housing prices. The result shows that: (1) The housing price distribution in the metropolitan area of the Yangtze river delta shows the characteristics of multi-pole core distribution, but the inter-provincial commonality is not strong. (2) The distribution of housing prices in Huzhou is influenced by the diffusion effect of housing prices in Hangzhou, presents a double-center feature like an axis, which decays vertically to the east and west. (3) The spillover effect of housing prices in the core cities in the metropolitan area is much larger than the agglomeration effect of small towns, and the real estate market in small towns is influenced by the big cities and moves closer to the big cities.
