Abstract:
The traditional villages in Yangshan area of Haikou City, Hainan Province are vernacular landscapes with typical volcanic and tropical regional characteristics, with the promotion of rural revitalization, the political landscape gradually affects the vernacular landscape genes of Yangshan area, and the research on the vernacular landscape characteristics of Yangshan area is particularly urgent. Based on the theory of landscape gene information chain, this paper constructs the vernacular landscape gene information chain in Yangshan area, takes the traditional village Yongtan Village in Yangshan area as a specific case, and analyzes the vernacular landscape characteristics in Yangshan area from landscape gene information elements, points, corridors and networks. The results show that: 1) The landscape gene information element is rich in connotation, but the main body of inheritance is missing, so it is necessary to focus on the protection of the core carrier of the information element, and innovate the inheritance techniques and methods; 2) The number of landscape gene information points and corridors is large, but the degree of protection is poor, and the new landscape elements are crowding out the space for survival, so it is necessary to strengthen the protection of the information points and corridors; 3) The landscape gene information network is constantly extended, and it is necessary to reasonably and scientifically plan the building roads to keep the overall coordination and integrity. In the future, when restoring the historical and cultural memory of the vernacular landscape in Yangshan area and constructing the landscape information carrier, attention should also be paid to the creation of close connection among the main subjects of the vernacular landscape, and the combination with digitalization technology etc. for protection and restoration.
