Abstract: Since the reform and opening up, the development of China's urban infrastructure construction has gone through stages such as initial construction, scale expansion, steady improvement, and transformation and efficiency enhancement. The capacity of facilities and the level of services have strongly supported the healthy development of cities, ensuring continuous improvement in the production and living standards of urban residents. Entering the period of urban renewal, to meet the people's ever-growing needs for a better life, there are still problems in urban infrastructure construction, including the urgent need to improve the systematization level, enhance operational quality and efficiency, and transform operation and management methods. Aiming at building a modern urban infrastructure system and drawing on the experience of developed countries, this paper puts forward suggestions such as comprehensively improving the level of systematic construction, accelerating the quality improvement and efficiency enhancement of operation services, and establishing a sustainable construction, operation and management mechanism.
