Abstract:
The evaluation of urban renewal potential serves as a key intermediate link connecting urban health assessments, existing spatial inventory, and the implementation of urban renewal planning. Focusing on the evaluation of urban renewal potential at the district and county levels, this study emphasizes the integration of value judgment and technical judgment, and constructs a basic evaluation framework covering two major dimensions and five categories of renewal elements. Taking Zhifu District of Yantai City, Shandong Province as the research area, this paper carries out practical exploration, develops an evaluation model adapted to local conditions, and generates a parcel-scale spatial classification map of urban renewal potential. The research findings can provide a valuable reference for clarifying the orientation, direction and requirements of urban renewal, selecting site locations for renewal projects, and scientifically supporting the refined formulation and implementation of urban renewal planning.
